The year 2023 going into 2024 she took care on a second case of mine and was just as wonderful and very honest, with getting me prepared of what could possibly happen. My daughter breathes life into my day with just a smile. Custody battles and disputes are difficult, especially on our children. Descions are made and the emotional turmoil takes a piece of their innocence. I have been an advocate for children, personally and publicly, I believe in protecting the innocence of children. Unfortunately, my beautiful and happy spirited daughter was afflicted with the trauma and pain that takes place when courts have to be engaged in seeking the "best interest" of children because parents can’t agree on matters during their separation. It was so moving that I realized that she was giving voice and hope to many children who maybe experiencing similar situations. I hired attorney Annie Mulligan to represent me in a modification of custody for my child with special needs. I don't think I could have asked for a smarter, more professional, more compassionate attorney. She was on top of things every step of the way. She was in communication throughout the entire case and if she hadn't heard an update from me, she would check in with me and make sure everything was going okay. My case was complex and dragged out- it had already been open for 5 years before I found Annie. She sifted through over half a decade of evidence, documents, court documents, witnesses, just an unimaginable amount of information to prepare for a final trial scheduled for 1 month from when I hired her. When the hearing date came around, she was prepared, authoritative, knowledgeable, compassionate, and thorough. My case didn't turn out exactly as I'd hoped but I could not have asked for better representation! The outcome, overall, was a decent compromise and Annie helped me see the benefits of the changes that I couldn't see for myself.
